Lucid Dream
Each and every one of us are
not stranger to an experience we called dream. It is already a common
experience for us that we may dream each time we sleep. Dreams are successions
of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind
during certain stages of sleep. Our dreams are always too bizarre that the
things that happen in our dreams is too impossible in real life. Dreams can
have varying natures, such as frightening, magical, melancholic or adventurous.
The events in dreams are generally outside of the control of the dreamer, with
the exception of lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is awareness of the fact
that you are dreaming. This awareness can range from very faint recognition of
the fact to something as momentous as broadening of awareness beyond what has
ever been experienced even in walking life. Lucid dreams usually
occur while a person is in the middle of a regular dream and suddenly realizes
that they are dreaming. Once you realize this, you have the ability to control
your dreams, which is pretty much the most essential part of lucid dreaming.
So what does it really feel
like to control your dream? To be able to freely experience what you want
inside your imaginary world where you are the master of your own universe.
Lucid dreaming is a very interesting experience rather than the usual dream
that where we are always restricted of our free will, only able to watch the
succession of images in our sleep. It would really be delighting if we could
experience this in some part of our life.
